Swimming and Skating!

Since Nick has been gone I have been trying to keep Austin busy with different activities. I took him for his first swim lesson yesterday and he had a blast. He has been asking to go swimming ever since. =) His lessons are going to be tue and thur.

He also experienced his first time roller skating. This was for Owen's 6th birthday party. Roller skating at the youth center. Austin had a hard time on the skates but he sure had fun trying to do it. I actually put on a pair and skated with him for about 5 minutes and then I was done! lol

Nicks First Deployment!

Well, Nick left of the 26th of January for his first deployment. This past month has been hard without him, especailly for Austin. He misses his daddy so much but I try to explain why he had to go away. I know he doesnt understand completley but he does a little.

We get to talk to Nick on video chat almost every day. Sometimes it is hard because he is 13 hours ahead of us so if we dont wake up early, he goes to bed before we get to talk.

We miss him and are thinking of him always! Love you baby.
